New Nissan Trucks for Sale on Long Island

New Nissan trucks for sale in Inwood, NY: Ready to do the heavy lifting

Nissan is taking some bold new steps in the truck market, introducing a completely redesigned Frontier mid-size pickup, along with new Nissan Titan truck models. Nissan has developed innovation that will excite truck buyers throughout the Long Island area, including Elmont, Brooklyn, NY and beyond. If you're interested in new Nissan trucks, here's what we'll have in store at Rockaway Nissan in Inwood, NY.

New from the ground up: The Nissan Frontier

This is Nissan's most affordable pickup and it's been totally redesigned for 2022. It's a mid-size model that's getting a new, more appealing exterior with squared-off fenders and a more dynamic look. The ride is also more appealing with greater sound insulation, new acoustic window glass and a redesigned rear carpet area, all to help make the cab quieter no matter where you drive around Nassau County, NY.

The new Nissan Frontier at Rockaway Nissan, not far from Queens NY, comes with just one powertrain, but it's a system Nissan has already introduced and there's plenty of power to go around. It's a V6 engine capable of generating 310 horsepower, coupled with a nine-speed automatic. The new Frontier has a max payload of 1,610 pounds and it can tow up to 6,720 pounds. You can add adjustable tie-down cleats and a 120-volt power outlet.

Body styles

The new Nissan Frontier mid-size truck can come in an extended-cab King Cab or a Crew Cab body style. The King Cab is smaller and comes with a six-foot bed. The Crew Cab has a five-foot bed in the base S trim, and the six-foot bed is an available option on the Frontier's SV trim. Whatever body style you choose, you'll have a hard-working truck partner for any job you face whether you live in nearby Valley Stream or Long Island, NY.

Off-road options

The new Frontier offers a four-wheel-drive Pro-X and a rear-wheel-drive Pro-X for off-roading. Those two trims come only with the Crew Cab body style and standard five-foot bed, and both include Bilstein shock absorbers. They also come with a Dana-sourced rear axle, fog lights, LED headlights and special 17-inch wheels surrounded by all-terrain tires. The Pro-4X protects the under-side with three steel skid plates and has a 360-degree camera.

The new Nissan Titan at Rockaway Nissan

New upgrades in the new, full-size Nissan Titan for 2022 are concentrated mostly in the lower trims. For example, the King Cab S trim gets a new receiver hitch and a spray-on bedliner. An available Convenience package in the King Cab SV will add new navigation to the existing package that already includes a driver's seat that's adjustable eight ways, along with a generously-sized 9-inch touchscreen and a handy remote start feature.

The Nissan Titan, like its smaller cousin the Frontier, offers just one engine but it's impressive. A 5.6-Liter V8 produces 400 horsepower and utilizes a nine-speed automatic. Equipped with the best Titan towing rig, the maximum towing capacity for the King Cab 4x2 has been elevated to 9,370 pounds. The bumper-to-bumper warranty is another nice feature that provides coverage for many components for five years or 1,00,000 miles.
